Why from Japan?

You may find almost all cars on the street in Japan clean and good condition.
There are several reasons, but main reason is because we have an authorized checking system for automobiles, called “Shaken” in Japanese. Without passing it, we cannot drive any cars on the public road. The car owner will ask some car dealer or agent to pass “Shaken” and pay its handling charge, repair fee if there is defect, and taxes. Its basic cost will be around US$550.-, depending on car weight. However, if there are some defects, its cost will increase, sometimes US$2,000 or more! That is why, some people will change the car at the timing of “Shaken”.
That “Shaken” will be taken every 1 year, 2-year or 3-year (only for the first check).
In the automobile market, you may find brand new cars less than 5,000km in mileage. Even if old pre-owned cars, say, older than 20years old, you may find good condition less than 50,000km sometimes.

We are your consultant in Japan. Let me know which car you are searching. We will advise you from which purchase source is proper to buy. From automobile auctions (around 80 auction houses, selling around 150,000 units or more per week) or from used or new car dealers, If you place emphasis on price, better to buy through auctions. If the car you search is rare and hard to find in the auction, you can buy from used car dealers. It would be more expensive than auction price, but you can get it surely. We check the car through third party inspection company before purchasing and feedback its report for your correct decision.
When you buy cars from automobile auctions, please don’t worry. We will translate all words mentioned in the auction check sheet inspected by professional inspector before auctions. We can talk about these defects and auction sold price then make decision the bid price.
When we succeed, we will arrange payment to the auction house and deliver the car to the nearest bond yard.

Next Procedure  
- Shipping Arrangement -

Please rely on us. We have cooperative forwarding companies and shipping companies in major ports in Japan. We will arrange shipment in soonest schedule.
Let us decide in advance which shipping way and condition you need. It will help us to proceed shipping arrangement smoothly.

Shipping Ways  
- Ro/Ro (Roll-on/Roll-off) or Container -

Ro/Ro is loading cars in the vessel directly. Not packed. On the other hand, Container is packing cars inside of dry container and ship. It will be safer or may be cheaper if loaded many units.

Shipping Condition
- FOB / CFR / CIF / etc. -

FOB is “Free on Board”. You have to arrange shipment and marine insurance. It would be useful if you have a good rate in your side.
CFR is “Cost and Freight”. You have to arrange marine Insurance, if needed. 
CIF is “Cost, Insurance and Freight”. We will arrange shipment and marine insurance. 
We will work flexibly. Please don’t hesitate to ask us which way is suitable for you.

Pictures of the car

We will send you pictures of the car taken at the bond yard. You can check the car condition just before shipment.

Shipping Documents

We will ship following shipping documents and car belongings by courier after around 1 week* since shipping vessel will depart from the harbor.
* It will take several days that shipping company issues B/L. I am sorry for this inconvenience. If you need the B/L urgently under some reasons or the leading time is short, we can surrender the B/L instead of shipping original B/L. Please don't hesitate to ask us in that case. However, please give this request "before the vessel shipped".

1. Commercial Invoices
2. Bill of Lading or House Bill of Lading (if CFR or CIF condition)
3. Marine Insurance Policy (if CIF condition)
4. Export Certificate

- Car Belongings –

1. Spare Key (if there is)
2. Maintenance Records (if there is)
   * Manual Books might be put in the glove compartment if acceptable.

Payment Term

T/T (Telegraphic Transfer Remittance) or L/C (Letter of Credit).
Credit Card, or any electric payment system is not acceptable, sorry.
